Maesincla Community fun day

The Llygaid Maesincla Eye group supported by North Wales Police are holding a “Community Fun Day” on Sunday 3rd June on the Cae Glyn Football Field, Maesincla, Caernarfon and everyone is invited along to join in.  A number of activities are planned including bouncy castles for the kids and “throw a sponge” at your local councillor which is bound to attract a lot of attention!  The event is being organised to raise funds for CCTV cameras on the estate in a effort to help prevent and reduce the amount of anti social behaviour (ASB).

Local PCSO Richard Pepper who helped organise the event said “This is aimed at bringing the whole community together and to all have a bit of fun.  It will also be a great opportunity to meet their local councillors and Police and Community Support Officers in a less formal atmosphere and to hopefully raise some money for a cause which will benefit everyone in the community and show we are all in the fight against ASB together”

The officer added that the event was greatly assisted by a £250 grant from PACT (Police and Community Trust).
