A massive ‘Well Done’ to all those who took part in the recent Penycae Litter Pick on 2nd October 2022.
PCSO Purdy Jones along with Penycae Community Council organised the event which saw local residents get stuck in and collect a total of 26 bags full of rubbish.

PCSO Jones said “It was a great day and local councillor said (in his words) it was a cracking success. Thank you so much to PACT and Penycae Community Council for assisting with the funding and helping to make it such a success. We collected 26 bags of rubbish and plenty of familes and volunteers turned up. We even had good weather. As for the pizza, it was amazing and 40 pizzas were handed out for everyone to enjoy.”
Funding for the day was secured from PACT and Penycae Community Council.
