Recently, PACT and partners from CGI, Mike Rose visited a community group who have recently been supported with a small grant of £250. Our partners at CGI supported PACT with this grant to help contributes to the ongoing costs for the group.
Denbigh Mens Shed
Denbigh Mens Shed is a social group set up in the community to support and benefit both men and women from Denbigh and the surrounding rural area. The group is seen as a place where loneliness and isolation are addressed in a friendly environment where people can chat and enjoy each others company. The group is open two days a week and has approximately 60 people visit each week. The shed is a registered charity and like many charities / community schemes it relies heavily on donations and fundraising in order to be sustainable.
