Parents can rest assured that their children will be in good hands should they go missing on the Maes.
Thanks to a grant from PACT, North Wales Police will be handing out wristbands to children on the Maes of the National Eisteddfod in Wrexham.
The wristbands are being offered, free of charge, so that contact details, including telephone numbers, can be written on for use if the need arises.
Superintendent Rob Kirman said: “We want to encourage parents to use these wristbands. The Maes is a very busy place and with the correct information we will quickly be able to reunite lost children with their parents or guardians.”
Wristbands can be obtained from police officers on the Eisteddfod field, from the Police caravan near the main entrance or from the Justice Wales tent on the Maes.
