DIG out your brooms and scariest faces – its that time of year again!

Following last year’s sell out success this years Ruthin Spooktacular event will be staged over two days at Theatre John Ambrose, Ruthin on October 30 and 31.

Organised by Ymlean Ruthun-Ruthin Forward the show will again feature the young talent of Ruthin Gymnastic Club, Stagecoach, and North Wales School of Dance with well over 100 performers taking part in a wide variety of acts.

A new attraction this year will be the one eyed wicked witch who will be waiting for anyone brave enough to enter the dark scary cavern, once in the room anything can happen and probably will (age limit will apply).

Audience members are welcome to attend in spooky fancy dress!

There will also be a children’s fancy dress competition and a best dressed pumpkin competition.

Tickets for a prize draw will be on sale for £1 each, there will be prizes for adults and children.

All under 14’s will be given a trick or treat bag.

“Many parents see the show as an alternative for their children going on trick or treat around the neighbourhood,” said show organiser Show organise Ron Bell.

“This year we are pleased to have received support from PACT (Police and Community Trust) and the North Wales Police, this all adds to the credibility of the show and recognises the work being done by Ymlaean Rhuthun/Ruthin Forward.

“We have also received financial support from The Co-operative regional fund, and Denbighshire County Council.”

With seating capacity limited to 300 per night the organisers have indicated that demand for tickets will be high, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are on sale from Gareth Lynch Jewellers and Reebees Flower Shop in Clwyd Street and Cherry Bomb in Well Street at a cost of £4 for adults £1 for under 14’s.

Venue opens at 6pm, theatre doors open at 6.30pm with the show commencing at 7pm.
